Ndudi Elumelu has won the APC primary for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency. The former House Minority Leader polled more votes than other aspirants competing for the ticket.

Barr. Val Arenyeka announced the results at the collation centre in Oshimili South Local Government Area on Thursday.

He confirmed that Elumelu secured the party's nomination ahead of 2027.

Elumelu thanked God and party members for supporting his ambition. He told journalists the victory represents a mandate from the people of the constituency.

He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership and the Renewed Hope Agenda. According to him, the president's policies have strengthened the APC nationwide and ensured peaceful party congresses.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori also received Elumelu's commendation for executing the MORE Agenda. In his words, the governor's efforts have revitalized Delta State and boosted the party's fortunes.

Elumelu expressed gratitude to former governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the party's national leadership. He acknowledged his campaign team, particularly campaign director Dr.

Darlington Ijeh, for their hard work.

"Let me earnestly register my profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his excellent leadership under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which, in repositioning our nation, has brought massive support to our great party, the APC," he said.

"I sincerely thank our dear Governor, Rt. Hon.

Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, whose sterling execution of the MORE Agenda has repositioned our state and strengthened support for our party in Delta State," Elumelu added.

He promised to bring development projects and jobs to constituents. Elumelu also vowed to restore the constituency's influence in the National Assembly.

Unity within the APC remains crucial, he stressed to party members. He urged other aspirants and aggrieved members to accept the outcome and work together.

Elumelu called for sportsmanship among all party stakeholders for 2027. He believes his emergence strengthens the APC's chances in the federal constituency.
