The Member representing the Isoko ethnic nationality on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Chief Victor Egbo, over the week embarked on an inspection tour of several ongoing and completed projects in Isoko North Local Government Area to assess their quality and execution.

At Ovrode town, he visited the first phase of Dr. Joseph Onojaeme Road, a 500-meter stretch, where he praised the contractor’s adherence to specifications and confirmed that asphalt work would commence within days.

In Okpe-Isoko community, he inspected the modern civic center, which was initiated in response to the community’s request for a venue for meetings and social gatherings. Commending the progress at the foundation level, Chief Egbo emphasized that the project aligns with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda, assuring the community of its timely completion. However, he directed the contractor to install a signpost indicating DESOPADEC’s involvement before his next visit.

At Otor-Owhe, he examined solar-powered streetlights, applauding the contractor for securing the poles against theft.
