Economic Hardship: Saboteurs Working Against Us, Says VP Shettima

The Federal Government plans to audit the N23 trillion Ways and Means to ensure the government is not paying for funds it did not spend.

The Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) launched a N100 billion project preparation fund to stimulate investments in Nigeria.

The government is working to make the Nigerian business space more attractive to investors by eliminating unnecessary taxes.

During his speech, VP Shettima emphasized that the country is facing economic hardship due to the actions of saboteurs, but assured that the administration is taking steps to address these challenges.

He mentioned the interception of 45 trucks loaded with maize being smuggled to a neighboring country, which led to a drop in the price of maize by N10,000.The government is working to improve the Nigerian business environment by eliminating unnecessary taxes and making it more attractive to investors.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited has been asked to increase oil output to boost oil revenue.

The N100 billion project preparation fund launched by MOFI aims to stimulate investments in the country.
