Ahead of the forthcoming council elections in Delta, the State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chairman, Barr Kingsley Esiso, has said that PDP is the most viable political party in state.
The party chairman disclosed this today, (Tuesday) at Ughelli, headquarters of Ughelli North Local government area, during the presentation of the chairmanship candidate, Olorogun Jaro Egbo and his running mate, Mrs Meg Atano as the flag bearers for the July 13 elections.
According to him, "Delta State is PDP and PDP is Delta state and it is only the party that can run it because we are on the streets.
"Now that elections are around the corner, you will not see them but they are free to make noise and we are ready to vanish them on that day because we know how to run it.
"Today we are in this great country call Nigeria where we have in Abuja the APC led federal government and obviously Nigerians are suffering.

"Prices of goods and services have gone beyond the reach of the common man, our mothers can on longer buy tomatoes and somebody in his right senses is still talking about APC.
"But by the grace of God, the good and bad people of Ughelli North will come out and vote for Olorogun Jaro Egbo and his councillors because they are good people.
"We are presenting the symbol of our great party to Jaro Egbo believing that he has the capacity, ability, the competence to go to the council and rule effectively and non of you will fail.
Speaking to wordpress-1197007-5321609.cloudwaysapps.com at the venue of the rally, a chieftain of the party in Ughelli North LGA, Hon. Roland Oyibo applauded the large turn out of party faithfuls and PDP supporter, saying that with the huge crowd at the stadium, it's clear that the PDP will come victorious in the July 13 poll.
Hon. Oyibo who was a PDP chairmanship aspirant, noted that with the level of works done by the party leaders in Ughelli North and coupled with bad policies of the APC-led federal government which has caused untold hardship in the country, the PDP is posed in winning Ughelli North in all future elections.
Also speaking with newsmen during the rally, Delta Central Director, DLA, Engr Christabel Obiuwevbi said, "The large turnout of the people at this rally is a testament to the fact that APC and other political parties are scared and they are already crying in defeat.
"The PDP is a unified party and the priority of Jaro Egbo is security, education, and empowerment, being a divine choice, his candidature is generally accepted by the party."
