Delta Committed to Continuity, Sustainable Development – Oborevwori

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the sustainable development of the state.

The governor emphasized the importance of continuity in governance and the completion of ongoing projects, as well as the initiation of new ones for the betterment of the state.

During an inspection of the construction of a storm drainage channel from Owa-Alero and its environs through Owa-Alizomor and Owa-Ofie to Iyi-Amah stream in Ika North-East Local Government Area, Governor Oborevwori expressed his satisfaction with the quality and pace of work.

He also reiterated his administration’s zero-tolerance policy for project abandonment.

In his New Year message, Governor Oborevwori thanked the people of Delta State for their support and encouragement since the inception of his administration.

He assured them that his administration will remain focused on sustainable development through the instrumentality of his “M.O.R.E” governance blueprint.

Despite the challenges faced in 2023, Governor Oborevwori acknowledged that the year was also “very eventful” as his administration made significant achievements in the past seven months.

He expressed confidence that, with the same level of cooperation from the good people of Delta State, they will achieve more in all facets of governance and development in the coming year.

The governor’s commitment to continuity, sustainable development, and the completion of ongoing projects, as well as the initiation of new ones, is a clear indication of his dedication to the growth and progress of Delta State.
