Dafinone mourns Olorogun Uloho’s demise, console family, Urhobo nation

The Senator Representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone has expressed sadness over the news of the death of former Deputy President General of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Olorogun Austin Uloho, the Osio R’Igho of Ughelli Kingdom at 73.

Senator Dafinone in a press release described the demise of the All Progressives Congress APC chieftain as a big loss not just to the Uloho family but the Urhobo Nation and the progressive family in Delta State.

The Delta Central lawmaker added that Olorogun Austin Uloho’s demise is one death too many in the Delta progressive family and has created a big vaccum that would be difficult to fill.

According to Senator Dafinone, “It’s with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I, on behalf of the Dafinone family and the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, extend my heartfelt condolences to the famous Uloho family on the passing of Olorogun Austin Uloho, a former UPU Deputy President General, and a distinguished Chieftain of APC in Delta State, at the age of 73.

“Olorogun Austin Uloho was not only a distinguished leader but also a beacon of wisdom and integrity within the Urhobo community, the great Ughelli kingdom and beyond. His unwavering dedication to the progress and unity of our people leaves an indelible mark on our collective consciousness. As the former UPU Deputy President General, he exemplified the true spirit of service and selflessness.

“His legacy of integrity, compassion, and unwavering support for the advancement of our people and Ughelli kingdom will forever be cherished.

“During this difficult time of mourning, we offer our thoughts and prayers to all those who knew and loved Olorogun Austin Uloho.

“May the memories of the great Osio R’Igho of Ughelli Kingdom continue to inspire us all, and may his soul rest in perfect peace.”

Senator Ede Dafinone recognizes the immense loss felt by the Uloho family, as well as the wider Urhobo community and APC family.

While charging the Uloho family and the people of Ughelli Kingdom to find solace in the fact that their father, son was a good man, he noted the death of a loved one is always a very painful experience.

Senator Dafinone stands in solidarity with the Uloho family, offering his support and prayers to help them find solace and strength in the midst of their grief.
