Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Pere of Akugbene-Mein Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Stanley Perediegha Luke-Kalanama VIII (JP), on the occasion of his 60th birthday, paying glowing tribute to the monarch's outstanding leadership, commitment to peace, and enduring contributions to the development of his kingdom and Delta State.
In a goodwill message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor described the royal father, who also serves as the First Vice Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, as a highly respected traditional ruler whose reign has been defined by wisdom, stability, and selfless service over the past 28 years.
Oborevwori said the monarch had distinguished himself as one of the state's most influential and articulate custodians of tradition, noting that his invaluable contributions had strengthened the traditional institution and fostered constructive engagement on issues of peace, security and development across Delta State.
The Governor also acknowledged the monarch's sterling service within the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, recalling that he served meritoriously as Second Vice Chairman before his elevation to the office of First Vice Chairman. He further applauded the royal father's unwavering commitment to human capital development, particularly his sustained investment in education through scholarship programmes that have empowered many deserving youths from Akugbene-Mein Kingdom.
According to the Governor, the monarch's passion for education and youth development underscores his visionary leadership and firm belief that investing in people remains the surest path to sustainable community growth and prosperity.

The Governor prayed for God's continued grace upon the monarch, saying: "As you celebrate this significant milestone, I pray that Almighty God grants you sound health, greater wisdom, renewed strength and many more years of impactful service to Akugbene-Mein Kingdom, Delta State and our nation.
