Dafinone consoles Okakuro Asini over wife’s demise

The Senator Representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, has commiserated with Okakuro Moses Asini, a prominent member of Okpe Community Leaders of Thought (OCLT), on the demise of his wife, Madam Ohovwore Margaret Omovidono Asini at the age of 81year.

Madam Asini reportedly passed on at the age of 81 years in the early hours of January 2nd, 2024, at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Edo State.

Senator Dafinone who is also the Treasurer of Okpe Community Leaders of Thought (OCLT) in a signed statement condoled the Asini family and the children of late Mama Margaret Asini over the death of their mother.

According to the Delta Central lawmaker; “It is with a heavy heart that we extend our sincere condolences to Okakuro Moses Asini, a respected member of the Okpe Community Leaders of Thought, on the passing of his beloved wife, Madam Ohovwore Margaret Asini.

“Mrs. Asini’s legacy of kindness, wisdom, and community service will forever be remembered and missed. She was a pillar of support for our father, Okakuro Asini.

“In this time of grief, our thoughts and prayers are with Okakuro Moses Asini and the entire Asini family.

“The loss of a loved one is never easy, and the Dafinones join in mourning the departure of a remarkable woman who touched many lives throughout her lifetime. We share in the sorrow of the Asinis and offer our deepest sympathies.
“Mama Asini indeed ran a good race and finished strong, bowing out at the rightful age of 81 years.

“Mama might have left us at this material time, however, in our moment of grief, we should not mourn like those without hope, because on the resurrection day, we shall all be reunited with Mama to part no more.

“Our prayer is that God grant the Asini family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and may you find strength and solace as you navigate through this challenging period.

“May Mama’s soul find rest, Amen!”
