Jeffrey Buter, Sporting Lagos' head coach, believes his side can perform better as the NNL Super Four playoff tournament unfolds. The club scraped past Ranchers Bees 1–0 on Monday at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

Doma United awaits Sporting Lagos on Wednesday. Buter says his team will tweak its tactical approach for the clash.

"We studied Ranchers Bees carefully since we'd never faced them in our conference," he told club media. "That preparation paid off on the day."

According to him, every opponent demands different tactics. Sporting Lagos doesn't rely on a single game plan, he explained.

"We adjust based on what we read from our opponents," Buter noted. He added that his squad has room to improve significantly from their opening performance.
