Arsenal could clinch the Premier League title as soon as Tuesday evening. Mikel Arteta's side moved within touching distance of their first championship in 22 years after Monday's 1-0 victory over Burnley.

Kai Havertz's first-half header secured all three points in a closely contested encounter. Only a final trip to Crystal Palace remains on Arsenal's fixture list this season.

The Gunners currently lead Manchester City by five points at the summit. City travel to Bournemouth on Tuesday night in a match they cannot afford to lose.

Should Pep Guardiola's team fail to win at the Vitality Stadium, Arsenal will be mathematically crowned champions. Arsenal have occupied the top spot for 556 nights since the 2022-23 campaign began.

That tally far exceeds any rival. Liverpool, their nearest challenger in that regard, managed just 355 nights at the top during the same period.
