Senator Ayo Arise, a prominent APC chieftain in Ekiti State, has praised Governor Biodun Oyebanji's victory in the June 20, 2026 governorship election.
In a statement released to journalists in Ado Ekiti, Arise lauded Oyebanji's win as proof of his dedication to developing the state.
He commended voters for turning out in large numbers to re-elect Oyebanji and his running mate, Mrs Monisola Afuye, for a second term.
Arise believes the victory will enable more infrastructure projects and growth across Ekiti's various sectors going forward.
Under Oyebanji's continued leadership, he noted, the state will see improvements in roads, education, healthcare, agriculture and the civil service.
However, Arise urged unity, justice and fairness within the APC as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
He is eyeing the Ekiti North Senatorial District seat in the coming general elections.
