All now set as DC-23 inaugurates BoT, NEC Members tomorrow

Against what political analyst has described as an act of intimidation of the Urhobo political class in the PDP by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta Central 2023 will tomorrow, May 22, 2023, inaugurate its Board of Trustees and swear-in its National Executive Council members.

The political pressure group, in a press release signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Olorogun Arthur Akpowowo, said the event will hold at the Petroleum Training Institute Conference Centre at 12pm.

He added that former Minister of Information, Prof. Sam Oyovbaire will be the chairman of the ceremony, while Very Rev. Fr. Christopher Ekabor is the Spiritual Father of the day.

According to him, renowned Delta State University lecturer, Dr Sunny Awhefeada will deliver the keynote address with the theme: “URHOBO, DELTA 2023 AND BEYOND”.

He urged all politicians in Urhobo to attend the inauguration/swearing-in ceremony for the betterment of Delta Central and Delta State in general.
