As parts of activities to mart Nigeria's 64th Independence anniversary, the First Lady of Isoko South Local Government Area, Mrs. Abigail Warri, on Wednesday paid a special visit to orphanage homes and a hospital within the local government, offering food items, gifts, and cash donations.
Mrs. Warri, wife of the council chairman accompanied by the council's Vice Chairman, Theresa Ikrike, Majority Leader Sheen Eloho Eza, and other officials, visited Ugholeh Orphanage in Oleh and Gilgal Child Support Center in Irri.
During the visits, the First Lady encouraged the children to recognize their potential and self-worth, reminding them that they have the same rights and opportunities as children living with their biological parents. She emphasized the importance of education and maintaining faith in God, regardless of their circumstances.

Several food items, gift packages, and cash donations were presented to the orphanages. Representatives of the homes, Mrs. Queen Egbage and Prophet Abraham Great, expressed their gratitude for the support, and called for sustained assistance from the government.
The First Lady's outreach also extended to Oleh General Hospital, where she congratulated nursing mothers, particularly those who had given birth on Independence Day. Mrs. Warri prayed for God's protection over the newborns and provided gifts and cash to mothers in the maternity and pediatric wards, demonstrating her commitment to the welfare of her community.
Speaking on behalf of Oleh General Hospital, Udolu Gloria Ujiro thanked Mrs. Warri for her kind gesture, describing it as both timely and impactful, especially in light of the current economic difficulties.
