Edevbie best qualified to Govern Delta State  after Okowa–Group

A Political pressure group, under the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), ‘Delta Platform’ has described former Chief of Staff to the Delta State Governor, Olorogun David Edevbie as the most qualified person to take over the mantle of leadership of the State from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

The Coordinator of the group, Mr Nicholas Alumona who stated this during the group’s formal inauguration at the Iyemere Civic Centre, Obiaruku, Delta State, pointed that of all governorship aspirants in the party, Edevbie was the only aspirant coming into the contest with a vast array of experience both from the corporate world and the public sector.

He added that if Edevbie is elected, he will bring to governance fortified policies and programmes that will launch Delta State into the international business climes as well as the repositioning administrative systems.

According to him, Olorogun David Edevbie will be bringing virtues of transparency, prudence and team management among others to bear in governance and leadership of the State.

He assured Edevbie of the group’s unwavering support among other aspirants that have also been critically x-rayed in their quest to govern the State.

The coordinator also charged his members to remain focused in their resolve to contribute to the success of Olorogun Edevbie’s victory at the gubernatorial primary election of the PDP in the State next year.

He reminded the members that they were carefully selected into the leadership cadre of the group among the numerous persons screened across the length and breadth of the state.

Speaking at the event, Olorogun David Edevbie represented by his Chief of Staff, Prince Tobi Dafe said his “Modernisation Agenda”, among other purposeful goals, would further build on the Stronger Delta of the present administration.

He thanked the state Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, for giving him the opportunity to serve the State further in different capacities, describing the Governor’s present “Stronger Delta Agenda” as a clearly designed developmental initiative that is practically and visibly yielding incontrovertible results in both material and human developments across the State.

He charged members of Delta Platform to be good ambassadors while galvanizing support for his election.
