DELSU holds its 15th Convocation ceremony, April 29th

This Convocation According to a statement signed by Mrs. R. U. Ufiofio, Registrar & Secretary to the Governing Council of DELSU, is for all 2021/2022 graduands (Regular, Sandwich, SLT, Weekend, Part–time and Affiliates).

The statement also added that Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andy Ogochukwu Egwunyenga, is inviting all Graduands, Parents/Guardians, Stakeholders, and the entire University Community to take part in the various Convocation activities.

Some of the activities lined up for the DELSU Convocation Ceremony include Convocation Service on Sunday, 23rd April 2023, at St. Paul’s Catholic Chaplaincy, DELSU, Abraka by 8:00 am.

On Tuesday, 26th April 2023, the Vice Chancellor will hold a Press Conference at 750 ‘A’ Seating Capacity Hall by 10:00 am. Later in the day, there would be a Novelty Match at the school Sports Complex from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

On Thursday, 27th April 2023

Would the Investiture of Alumni / Award and which will hold at 750A Seating capacity hall, by 11.00 am prompt. This will be followed by a Convocation Drama at the Arts Theatre Site III, Main Campus from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

This year’s Convocation Lecture to be delivered by Professor B.E.B Nwoke, Professor of Public Health, Parasitology, and Entomology, Imo State University, Owerri, will hold on Friday, 28th April 2023, at 750 ‘A’ Seating Capacity Hall by 11:00 am.

While on Saturday, 29th April 2023, the program will start with the Commissioning of Projects, Award of Diplomas, First Degrees, and Higher Degrees, and Award of Prizes at the Convocation Arena, by 9:00 am.

The statement added that visitors are expected to be seated by 9:00 am on Saturday, 29th April 2023, for the main convocation ceremony.

The Registrar, Mrs. R. U. Ufiofio assured that the 15th Convocation ceremony of DELSU, Abraka, would be memorable and exciting and urged all members and friends of the University to attend as scheduled.
