” Am beginning to make plans on how I can have offices in the seven LGAs that make up my Senatorial district as I promised during my electioneering campaign. The aim is to bring me closer to my constituents so issues can be attended to speedily.

“I have promised good legislation that will address the ills bedevilling the society. The outgoing senator did well representing Edo South in the Senate Chambers but I’ll strive to do better than he did. The Audit Bill will be dusted up and brought back to the house for passage. This will in turn strengthen the audit department to prevent the stealing of public funds and reduce corruption to its the barest minimum. Then monies that would have been stolen will be made available for projects that will dovetail to the well being of the people”.

Am also looking at youth empowerment. Our youths are very resourceful and they’ve been able to do a whole lot for themselves. What they need is just a push, training and enough resources for them to set up their businesses and trades.

“Am also big on mentoring. There is no need to take people through training without mentorship. So when we match them with the right mentorship it will lead to a successful take-off of their businesses. Of course, other things will also be done”.

Barr. Imasuen also said that he’ll always hold Town Hall meetings for him to know the area they need interventions.

While calling on the good people of Edo State to discountenance rumours making the rounds that all Labour Party house of assembly candidates are in alliance with the state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, he urged them to vote for all LP house of assembly candidates as a revolution has already begun to rescue Nigerians from bad governance.
