Wizkid reveals he is pausing his music career, shows interest in sport

Wizkid, the Nigerian singer known as Ayodeji Balogun, has declared a hiatus from music and hinted at a possible career switch to sports.

The singer made the announcement in a series of posts on his Instagram page after a fan urged him to release new songs.

Wizkid first replied to the fan with a laughing emoji, but he later shared on his Instagram page that he is enjoying his vacation.

He wrote, “Una papa dey holiday, make me enjoy it.”.

He also joked that he might take a 4 to 5-year break and try out different career options in sports.

He mentioned football, golf, ‘FIFA hoe’, and ‘wrestling bitches’ as some of the sports he is interested in while taking a break from music.

The singer’s statement sparked reactions online as many people commented on his post.
