UCL: Bayern Munich edge Manchester United in a seven-goal thriller

Bayern Munich extended their unbeaten run in the UEFA Champions League group stage to 35 matches as they defeated Manchester United 4-3 in a thrilling encounter at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

In the other matches of the night, Arsenal marked their return to the Champions League after a six-year absence with a convincing 4-0 win over PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium.

Real Madrid also started their campaign with a win, as Jude Bellingham scored a dramatic late winner in their 1-0 victory over Union Berlin at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Inter Milan salvaged a point in a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad at the Anoeta Stadium, thanks to a late equaliser from Lautaro Martínez in the 87th minute.
