Nigeria's Super Falcons held firm at 36th globally in the newest FIFA women's rankings released this week.
Coach Justine Madugu's squad also kept their grip as Africa's top-ranked national team.
The continental champions faced Senegal twice in friendly matches earlier this month. They won the first contest 2-1 with goals from Asisat Oshoala and Toni Payne.
In the second encounter, Nigeria dominated decisively. Joy Omewa netted twice while Oshoala added another in a commanding 3-0 victory.
South Africa ranks second on the continent, followed by Ghana, Morocco, and Zambia rounding out Africa's elite five.
FIFA will unveil its next women's rankings on October 20, 2026.
