Nigeria's Golden Eaglets suffered a second straight defeat at the Four-Nation Invitational Tournament in China, going down 4-2 to Australia. The team had previously fallen 3-2 to Tanzania in their opening match.
The young squad has now scored just four goals while shipping seven across the tournament. Coach Uwejamomere Eboboritse's side will wrap up their campaign against hosts China on Saturday.
The invitational serves as preparation for the WAFU B U-17 Championship scheduled for September. That tournament will function as the qualifying stage for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
