Seplat Energy’s ANOH Gas Plant Reaches Mechanical Completion in Delta

Seplat Energy has announced the mechanical completion of its ANOH gas plant in Delta.

The project, which was completed on December 29, 2023, in line with the revised timetable, marks a major milestone in the company’s efforts to expand its gas production and processing capacity.

The ANOH gas plant is a joint venture between Seplat Energy and the Nigerian Gas Company.

The project is expected to contribute significantly to Nigeria’s gas production and processing capacity, helping to meet the growing demand for gas in the country.

The completion of the ANOH gas plant is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire team involved in the project.

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the team was able to complete the project on time and without any recordable Lost Time Incidents (LTIs) across 11 million man-hours.

The completion of the ANOH gas plant is a major achievement for Seplat Energy and the Nigerian energy sector. The project is expected to create new jobs and provide a boost to the local economy.

It will also help to reduce Nigeria’s dependence on imported gas and improve the country’s energy security.
