Real Madrid has flatly denied reports of a €200 million bid for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.

Spanish media outlets had claimed the club was pursuing the France international. Olise is currently at the FIFA 2026 World Cup representing his nation.

Los Blancos moved quickly to squash the speculation on Tuesday. A club statement was unambiguous in its rejection.

"Real Madrid wishes to clarify that they have not had any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned footballer, his representatives, or people in his circle," the club said.

Madrid stressed its relationship with Bayern remains strong. Both clubs maintain "excellent institutional" ties, according to the statement.

Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace last year for roughly €60 million. He impressed in his debut German season, winning the Bundesliga and reaching the Champions League semi-finals.

Vincent Kompany's side benefited greatly from the 22-year-old's performances. His form drew attention from top European clubs.

Real Madrid's denial comes as José Mourinho settles into his new role. He took over the club earlier this month.

Madrid has already been busy in the transfer market this summer. Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konaté joined on free transfers.

Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella signed for a reported €55 million. Three major additions mark the club's ambitious rebuild.

Los Blancos endured two trophyless seasons, a rare drought for the European powerhouse. They're determined to reclaim titles at home and abroad.

The 15-time Champions League winners are reshaping their squad for success. Mourinho aims to restore the club to its winning ways.
