Roberto Martínez won't let the Nigeria friendly dictate his World Cup starting lineup. Portugal's coach made this clear after beating Chile 2-1 on Thursday.

All 26 players are now in camp and ready for selection. Martínez has the full squad at his disposal for Wednesday's match against the Super Eagles.

Four PSG stars recently joined the squad. They are Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, João Neves, and Gonçalo Ramos, who arrived before the Chile game.

Matheus Nunes is expected back in full training on Sunday. He missed the Chile match due to injury concerns but should be available for Nigeria.

João Félix is also in contention for the Super Eagles clash. His involvement against Nigeria remains a possibility at this stage.

In his post-match comments, Martínez stressed squad rotation over specific preparation. His priority is getting all players match-ready for the World Cup tournament itself.

According to O Jogo, he told reporters: "No, no. We now have the four PSG players arriving, along with Matheus Nunes, and we expect to have all 26 or 27 players ready for the second game."

Martínez continued: "We continue with individual preparation. Francisco Trincão did not play because the red card situation varies based on how we concluded the game, but the goal is to prepare all players to be ready for the World Cup and not solely for the first match."

Portugal faces the Democratic Republic of Congo next. That match takes place on June 17 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
