West Ham United have now entered the bidding war for Nigeria's Chibuike Nwaiwu, the Super Eagles defender currently at Trabzonspor.
Fulham had been leading the chase for the centre-back until now. Both clubs are keen on securing his services this window.
West Ham submitted a €30 million offer, but Trabzonspor rejected it outright. Fulham has already had two bids turned down as well.
The Turkish club wants €35 million for the 22-year-old international. They're standing firm on their asking price despite the competition.
Nwaiwu moved to Trabzonspor from Wolfsberger AC just last January. He impressed during the second half of the season with three goals and one assist across 16 league matches.
