Police Service Commission congratulates Egbetokun on becoming IGP

The Police Service Commission’s Chairman, Solomon Arase, has praised the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, for his leadership, integrity, and vision for the Force. He said these qualities have earned him the trust and confidence of Nigerians in his ability to tackle and resolve the security challenges in Nigeria.

The PSC Chairman congratulated the IGP on his confirmation as substantive Inspector General of Police by the President on June 19, 2023. He said this confirmation shows his dedication and professionalism since his appointment.

This was stated in a press release by Ikechukwu Ani, the Head of Press and Public Relations of the Police Service Commission.

The press release said the IGP is drawing on his experience in the Force and his rich academic background.

“It is my confidence that you will continue to make positive impacts in the Nigeria Police Force, and your tenure will be remarkable and outstanding.”

“This has also helped to strengthen the cooperation between the Commission and the Nigeria Police Force and to restore a harmonious and mutually beneficial relationship between these two important institutions of government.”
