Police Exhume Late Singer Mohbad’s Body for Autopsy, Fans React

The police have exhumed the body of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, for an autopsy. The singer died mysteriously on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, after allegedly being treated for an infection. His death has sparked controversy and suspicion among his fans and colleagues, who demanded a thorough investigation into the cause of his demise.

According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the exhumation was done on Thursday, September 21, 2023, ahead of the autopsy that would be carried out to ascertain the cause of death.

Some of Mohbad’s fans expressed relief that the truth about his death would soon be revealed, while others expressed sadness and anger over the way he was buried. Some also prayed for justice and peace for his soul.
