Pemu congratulates Okowa on his Supreme Court victory

Hon Festus Pemu a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Sapele, Delta State and Grassroot mobilizer, has Congratulated Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa On his Victory at the Supreme Court ruling that validate his election as the Governor of Delta State adding that Okowa’s victory is a merited one.

Pemu described the Governors triumph on Wednesday as “the victory for the people of Delta State, a well deserved and a merited one”. “Today is a great day in Delta State as the Supreme Court has validate the election of our great Governor, we are happy, Deltans are happy that the highest court in the country has finally settled the troubles surrounding the Delta State 2019 Governorship election and affirmed Governor Okowa as the true winner of the election”.

“Okowa won the election, that we know for sure and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. I have the confidence that he will win at the Supreme Court so am not surprised. I want to congratulate him because Governor Okowa is a great leader, a leader that has his people at heart irrespective of the political party they belong. A bigger congratulation to the people of Delta State, who are the real winners in the 2019 election” he said.

He noted that now that the coast is clear, and there are no more distractions from the opposition parties, Okowa can now take Delta State to the next level of prosperity and infrastructural development that will better the lives of the people of Delta State.

He however urge Deltans to join hands in making Delta State great and advised the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, to accept the judgment in good faith and support our Governor in the task of rebuilding the confidence of Delta State.
