Paul Okoye’s Girlfriend Ifeoma Ivy Denies Home-Wrecking Claims: ‘He Was Single When We Started Dating’

Ifeoma Ivy, the girlfriend of P-Square singer Paul Okoye, has finally addressed the claims that she is a home-wrecker responsible for breaking up his marriage to Anita Okoye.

In a bold statement on her Instagram story, she emphasized that she only started dating the singer after his divorce from Anita had been finalized.

Ifeoma Ivy took to her Instagram story on April 14, 2024, to set the record straight amidst widespread speculation and accusations on social media.

She clarified, “I met/got into a relationship with a very SINGLE man. I was nowhere in the picture when they got separated or divorced.

And I certainly do not have time to chase people from their houses Aburo kwanu m ogbanje. So my dear, yes, I sleep well at night.”

This is not the first time that the singer’s girlfriend has spoken out against the backlash she has received for their relationship.

In a previous interview with Cool FM in January 2024, Ifeoma Ivy expressed her frustration and hurt over being labeled a home-wrecker, stating, “People have said mean things to me but let’s talk about this one that people like saying that I’m a home wrecker.

That one is the most painful because where did they get their facts from?”

Paul Okoye, one half of the iconic Nigerian duo P-Square, and his ex-wife, Anita Okoye, officially dissolved their marriage in December 2022 after eight years together.

The couple, who met in 2004 during their undergraduate days at the University of Abuja, got married on March 22, 2014, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

They have three children together: Andre, born in 2013, and the twins, Nathan and Nadia, born in 2017.

During the divorce proceedings, Anita Okoye requested a $20,000 monthly settlement as well as several of her husband’s luxurious properties.

In light of the recent revelations, it is clear that the public’s perception of Ifeoma Ivy’s role in the dissolution of Paul and Anita Okoye’s marriage is based on misinformation.

As the dust settles on the matter, it is hoped that the singer and his new partner can move forward with their relationship free from unwarranted scrutiny and judgment.
