Oyegun- led PSC denies screening Jonathan, disqualifies 10 APC presidential aspirants

The Chairman of the seven-man Presidential Screening Committee and former National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie Oyegun disclosed that contrary to speculations, former President Goodluck Jonathan was never screened to run for the 2023 presidential election under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Odigie-Oyegun who stated this on Friday at the party Secretariat also said that the PSC disqualified 10 presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He added that only 13 out of the 23 aspirants scaled the screening exercise.

He spoke while submitting the report of the committee to APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
