The Super Eagles of Nigeria ended their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign on a high note as they thrashed Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 at the Nest of Champions in Uyo on Sunday.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen was the star of the show, as he scored a hat-trick and assisted another goal to help Nigeria finish top of Group A with 15 points. Osimhen now has 20 goals for the Super Eagles, making him the joint-fourth-highest scorer in the team’s history.
