Oshiomhole’s emergence will boost internal democracy; lead APC to victory in 2019-Rev Waive

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, in Delta State and a House of Representative hopeful for Ughelli North/South/Udu federal constituency, Revd Francis Waive, has congratulated the Comrade Adams Oshiomhole-led new National Working Committee of the APC saying that Oshiomhole’s emergence will boost internal democracy that will lead the party to victory in the 2019 general elections.

Waive noted that Oshiomhole been a foremost unionist and former governor of Edo State, has the capacity to galvanize both human and material resources within the party and take APC to victory by building on the existing foundation which the immediate past chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, who led the party to victory in 2015 started.

He described the party’s national convention which produced Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as the new National Chairman, as peaceful and successful, urging party leaders and faithfuls across the county to rally round the new NWC led by Oshiomhole, by shunning any divisive tendencies in the party, noting that the party needs united hose to win come 2019.

Waive, in a statement personally signed by him, said; “I have no doubt that our party made the best choice at this material time, by electing Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as our national chairman, I believe that he has the capacity to galvanize the party to victory come 2019.

“As a foremost labour leader and former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole distinguished himself and has garnered valuable experience over the years, this, he will bring to bear in his leadership of the new NWC, in order to position the party for the task ahead.

“I am of the firm believe that Oshiomhole’s led NWC will strengthen the party’ to enable it deliver on its campaign promises to Nigerians who rightly chose the APC in 2015 election ahead of the PDP which 16 years in power plugged country into untold economic crisis.”

“So, I want to congratulate our new National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and all members of the new National Working Committee of our great party.

He also commended the party’s immediate past chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun for having led the party victory in 2015 and conducting a rancor free, peaceful and successful national convention which also brought in people, who has distinguished themselves in their chosen endeavors.
