Trabzonspor claimed the Turkish Cup trophy on Friday night. They defeated Konyaspor 2-1 in a thrilling final.

Paul Onuachu was the star of the show. The Nigerian striker netted both goals for the Black Sea Storm.

Onuachu opened the scoring in the 18th minute. Right-back Wagne Pina set up the goal with a precise assist.

Konyaspor pulled level five minutes after halftime. Jackson Muleka, a striker from the Democratic Republic of Congo, found the back of the net.

Enis Bardhi had a chance to put Konyaspor ahead from the penalty spot. He missed two minutes before the hour mark, squandering a golden opportunity.

Onuachu restored Trabzonspor's lead from the penalty spot with 11 minutes remaining. It proved the decisive moment in the contest.

This was Trabzonspor's tenth Turkish Cup triumph. Onuachu finished as joint top scorer in the Super Lig during the 2025/26 season.

Fellow Nigerian Chibuike Nwaiwu also featured in the match. Both players shared the pitch for the winning side.
