The Executive Director of Finance and Administration at DESOPADEC, Chief Kome Okpobor, has charged grassroots mobilizers in Delta State to align their activities with the vision of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the administration’s MORE Agenda.

Okpobor gave the charge on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, when he received the delegation in his office at the Commission’s headquarters. The group, led by Mrs. Bunde, daughter of Isoko North Local Government Chairman Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba, visited in solidarity with the governor’s agenda.

While pledging his full support, Okpobor reaffirmed his political and personal alignment with Hon. Ogorugba, whom he described as a dependable ally.

“Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba is someone who, when he stands for you, he stands for you. He does not change his mind. I will support this group to thrive because Hon. Ogorugba is my trusted ally and my brother in politics who believes in the vision of my boss, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori,” he said.

He stressed that the group must remain rooted in loyalty to state leadership.

“This group you are about to kick off must be centered around our Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, because he put me here. He is my boss and our collective boss, and this group must operate under his administration’s umbrella. The paramount thing is His Excellency the Governor and our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Every other thing is secondary,” Okpobor cautioned.

Commending their initiative, he added: “I am happy to work with you. I am happy with your vision and I will support you full time.”

Earlier, the State Coordinator, Mrs. Alero Tedeye, thanked Okpobor for his reception, noting that the network of mobilizers spans all 25 local government areas of Delta State, beyond the Isoko nation.
