Okowa condoles With Wike over Rivers AG’s death

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Sunday commiserated with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, over the death of Rivers State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma, SAN, on Friday August, 10, 2018 in a London hospital.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, the Governor prayed that God will comfort the family of the deceased and grant his soul eternal rest.

The statement read, “Governor Ifeanyi Okowa commiserates with his Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike, the Government and people of Rivers State over the death of Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma, SAN.

“The Governor recalled the late Aguma’s contributions to the meeting of the Governors of the South South Forum in Port-Harcourt in May 2018, noting that the deceased will be sorely missed for his commitment, passion, competence and courage with which he served Rivers people.

“The Governor sends his condolences to the immediate family, his colleagues in the legal profession and friends of the deceased, over the sad demise of the hardworking Attorney General.

“Governor Okowa prays that God will comfort the family of the departed, and grant his soul eternal rest.”
