Nigeria's football federation has named Abdu Maikaba as the new Flying Eagles coach. He replaces Aliyu Zubairu, who guided the team through the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and World Cup.
Maikaba brings considerable experience to the role. He's previously worked with the Golden Eaglets and served as assistant under Paul Aigbogun with the Flying Eagles.
Eboboritse Uwejamomere takes over the Golden Eaglets position from Manu Garba. Uwejamomere spent years as a coach-analyst with Nigeria's senior national team.
He currently heads the academy at Sporting Lagos FC. The club recently clinched promotion to Nigeria's top-flight Premier Football League.
