Nigerian Chess Master Tunde Onakoya Makes History at Times Square, Supported by Omoyele Sowore

Nigerian human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore recently visited Times Square in New York City to back fellow Nigerian Tunde Onakoya in his ambitious attempt to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest chess marathon without losing a game.

Onakoya, a talented Nigerian chess master, embarked on a 58-hour marathon chess session, aiming to surpass the current world record and showcase the brilliance and resilience of his homeland on the global stage.
