Niger Delta Youths to Benefit from Revitalized Vocational Centers in Amnesty Programme

In a bid to alleviate hardship and empower the Niger Delta youths, Gen. Barry Ndiomu, the director of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has made a strong pledge to complete and activate all vocational centers across the Niger Delta region.

This development comes as a part of the ongoing efforts by the Presidential Amnesty Programme to foster sustainable development and create job opportunities for the Niger Delta youths.

The vocational centers, once operational, will provide skill acquisition and vocational training to the local population, enabling them to become self-sufficient and contribute positively to their communities.

Gen. Ndiomu, in a recent statement, emphasized the importance of these vocational centers in addressing the challenges faced by the Niger Delta region.

He stated that “the completion and activation of these vocational centers will not only provide much-needed job opportunities to the Niger Delta youths but also help in reducing the dependency on oil and gas resources in the region.”
