Niger Delta Women dismiss contract favoritism accusations against Eyesan

The Niger Delta Women for Change refutes claims of biased contract allocations involving Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, the Executive Vice President of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL), asserting that the allegations lack substance and are baseless.

In a press conference held in Warri, Delta State over the weekend, Esiri Ikomoni, President of the group, accompanied by executives and members, emphasized that the accusations against Eyesan aim to undermine her notable contributions to nation-building. Ikomoni attributed these allegations to tribalistic blackmail, posing a threat to the principles of fairness and meritocracy that Eyesan upholds.

Ikomoni stated that: “As the Executive Vice President, Mrs. Eyesan continues to lead with integrity, resilience and an unwavering commitment to the betterment of NNPCL and the nation at large.

“She serves perfectly as the Executive Vice President of NNPCL, bringing a wealth of experience, visionary leadership, and a steadfast commitment to fostering excellence within the organisation.

“The ongoing attempts to besmirch her reputation only serve to underscore the importance of supporting leaders who prioritize competence over divisive narratives.
