Meyer Plc is speeding up its digital overhaul. The paints manufacturer wants to transform how customers select colours, make purchases, and interact with the brand online.

Sunday Asade, the company's managing director and CEO, shared details after Meyer held its 54th Annual General Meeting this week. He explained that innovation and e-commerce now sit at the heart of the business strategy.

Customers will soon use a new digital platform to pick paint shades. They can visualize how colours will look on their buildings before buying anything.

"Today's customers want convenience," Asade told reporters. "Nobody wants to drive around looking for products anymore."

The platform will let buyers estimate quantities needed for their projects. Orders can be placed online and delivered straight to their homes.

According to Asade, technology is reshaping business entirely. Meyer Plc aims to harness digital tools for growth and market reach.

Beyond digital innovation, Meyer is expanding nationally. The company traditionally dominated the Southwest but now eyes other regions.

Asade noted expansion efforts across the Southeast, South-South, North-East, and North-Central zones. About 27 strategic business partners now distribute Meyer products across 12 states nationwide.

Financial results tell a strong story despite tough economic times. Meyer achieved roughly 36 percent revenue growth in the last financial year.

Profit after tax jumped over 35 percent year-on-year. Shareholders approved a dividend payment of 45 kobo per share.

Import costs have risen considerably. Yet the company still delivered impressive performance numbers.

Kalu Kalu represents Marriot Solicitors, Meyer's company secretary. He emphasized the firm's commitment to digital brand building.

Meyer has assembled a tech-focused team for product promotion. They work across Facebook and other online channels daily.

"We're maximizing digital media for brand visibility," Kalu told the gathering. Social platforms help Meyer reach consumers where they spend time.

The strategy moves beyond traditional advertising methods entirely. Online engagement now pairs with offline customer interactions.

Kalu stressed that quality remains non-negotiable alongside tech innovation. Both elements drive Meyer's long-term growth ambitions.

Market leadership depends on combining these forces smartly. Meyer intends to lead through superior products and superior digital experiences.
