Mercy Chinwo’s Producer Clarifies Unpaid Royalties Claims: Denies Calling Out Singer

Music producer Dr Roy has come forward to clarify the claims regarding unpaid royalties involving popular gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.

The producer took to Instagram to address the rumors, stating that he never accused Mercy Chinwo of neglecting to pay him royalties.

Instead, he clarified that his grievances were directed towards a record label executive, Ezekiel ThankGod, known as ‘Eezee T’, who owns Eezee T Concept.

Dr Roy explained that he and Mercy Chinwo both experienced challenges under Eezee T’s management and that the gospel singer has been supportive of him since then.

He expressed his disappointment in the circulating reports, which claimed that he had called out Mercy Chinwo for abandoning him after collaborating on her hit songs during an appearance on the podcast show ‘Honest Bunch with Nedu’.

In his statement, Dr Roy emphasized that Mercy Chinwo has been a source of support, particularly when his father suffered a stroke.

He further mentioned that, contrary to the reports, the gospel singer came to his aid during that difficult time.

As the news spread across social media platforms, Dr Roy’s clarification aimed to set the record straight and dispel any misconceptions about Mercy Chinwo’s involvement in the situation.

He also highlighted the challenges faced by artists in the music industry and the importance of fair compensation for their work.

This incident serves as a reminder of the complexities that can arise between artists and record labels, as well as the impact of miscommunication and misinformation on public perception.

As the music industry continues to evolve, it is crucial for artists and producers to have open dialogues about their experiences and advocate for fair treatment and compensation.
