“Matawalle Warns Against Inflammatory Comments on Tinubu’s Government”

The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle, cautioned Nigerians against making inflammatory comments against the government, warning that such actions could have consequences.

Matawalle’s warning comes in response to some unguarded and potentially destructive statements from various sections of the Nigerian populace.

The Minister highlighted that these comments could exacerbate tensions and lead to violence in the country.

The Minister also emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the capacity, political will, and is working round the clock to ensure Nigeria becomes a better and more secure nation.

He highlighted some of the policies the government has put in place to reshape and modernize the economy and to secure the lives, liberty, and property of the people.

Matawalle stressed the importance of unity, stating that what affects one Nigerian ultimately affects the entire nation.

He called for dialogue and understanding in addressing differences and reminded the public that the nation’s strength lies in its diversity.

The Minister acknowledged the global nature of the economic challenges faced by the country but reassured the public that President Tinubu and his team were working tirelessly to alleviate the burdens on the Nigerian people.

Matawalle urged the agents of disunity to refrain from further unwarranted utterances and advised citizens to prioritize peace, tolerance, and national cohesion in their words and actions.
