Manchester United confirmed Wednesday that striker Rasmus Hojlund has completed a permanent move to Napoli.
The Danish forward spent last season on loan with the Serie A side. He netted 16 goals across 44 matches in all competitions.
A club statement wished him well moving forward. "Everyone at the club would like to wish Rasmus all the very best for the future," it read.
Elsewhere, Liverpool is targeting RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande as Mohamed Salah's replacement. According to The Sun, the teenager has caught the attention of multiple Premier League clubs.
Salah departed Anfield when his contract expired at season's end. Liverpool now faces the task of finding an adequate successor.
Diomande arrived in Germany less than a year ago but has already impressed scouts. The 19-year-old struck 12 Bundesliga goals this past season.
His performances have made him a target for several top-flight English sides. Interest from the Premier League reflects the young talent's rapid development in German football.
