Elohor Olumide-Awe, Head of Non-Alcoholic Portfolio at Nigerian Breweries Plc, explained the reasoning behind the effort. According to him, two critical gaps exist across Nigeria that demand urgent attention.

"The first is the nourishment gap," he told reporters at the announcement. "Children don't yet understand that their bodies get vitamins and nutrients from what they consume daily, not from pharmacy counters."

He outlined the second problem clearly. Most children never experience learning through doing — they miss hands-on science education entirely.

Olumide-Awe noted what the Special Edition delivers. "By using hands-on STEM experiments to teach nutrition science, we make the subject practical, engaging, and real," he said.

In his view, this sparks lasting change. Students develop curiosity that shifts how they think, learn, and make choices throughout their lives.

Maltina's commitment extends beyond nutrition facts. According to the executive, the brand supports emotional, mental, and physical well-being in young Nigerians.

He stressed that this moment represents more than nostalgia. "We are not just celebrating a legacy — we are building one," Olumide-Awe noted.
