Thousands of Nigerian students and their parents wrestle with the same decision each year: finding a university that delivers genuine value. They want strong academics, safe campuses, modern facilities, and graduates equipped to compete globally after leaving university.

Maduka University, situated in Enugu State, was established to tackle this challenge head-on. The institution aims to turn out graduates who excel academically, think innovatively, possess entrepreneurial drive, and can hold their own in the global marketplace.

The university has built a track record of producing graduates ready for industry roles. Students engage with entrepreneurship programmes, leadership training, innovation projects, and hands-on experience that sharpen the abilities employers now demand.

For those seeking non-traditional routes into higher education, the institution provides options. It runs the IJMB programme, welcomes Direct Entry applicants, and accepts transfer students from other universities.

Admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year are now open across all undergraduate programmes. Following the release of 2026 UTME results, candidates meeting the JAMB-approved cut-off score can submit applications.

Tuition fees begin at ₦800,000 and include accommodation in the cost structure. The university offers a flexible 60/40 payment arrangement, letting students spread costs without strain.

There are no surprise charges lurking in the fine print. Feeding is on a pay-as-you-eat basis, giving students control over meal expenses.

Programme-specific fees for 2026/2027 run as follows: accounting, economics, international relations and diplomacy, and transport and logistics management programmes cost ₦800,000. Computer science, cyber security, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical, mechatronics, electrical and civil engineering programmes carry a ₦900,000 fee.

Public health, anatomy, physiology, and physiotherapy programmes are charged at ₦900,000. Medical laboratory science, optometry, and radiography programmes cost ₦1,200,000.

Nursing science runs ₦1,710,000, while pharmacy and law programmes also charge ₦1,710,000. Medicine and surgery (MBBS) comes in at ₦4,210,000.

The application form itself costs ₦5,000 to obtain. An acceptance fee of ₦50,000 is required once students gain admission, and this sum is non-refundable.

Prospective students can reach the admissions team through multiple channels. Rose is available on 08055091802 or 08065356367, while Henry can be contacted at 09157893107.

The university's email address is [email protected]. Visit the website at madukauniversity.edu.ng or access the admissions portal directly at admissions.madukauniversity.edu.ng.
