Liverpool Stage Late Show to Stun Arsenal in FA Cup Third Round

Liverpool survived an Arsenal barrage to seal a place in the FA Cup fourth round in dramatic fashion as two late goals secured a gritty 2-0 win on Sunday.

The match saw a dramatic turnaround in the final 10 minutes, with goals from Jakub Kiwior (own goal) and Luis Diaz securing the Reds’ place in the fourth round.

The first half was dominated by Arsenal, who created numerous chances but were unable to find the back of the net. Martin Odegaard came closest to breaking the deadlock, rattling the crossbar with a powerful shot.

Despite their dominance, the Gunners were made to pay for their missed opportunities.

In the second half, Liverpool gradually grew into the game and began to create chances of their own. Trent Alexander-Arnold was at his brilliant best, providing a constant threat down the right flank.

It was his free kick that led to the opening goal, as Kiwior inadvertently headed the ball into his own net in the 80th minute.

With the game seemingly heading for extra time, substitute Luis Diaz stepped up to secure the victory for Liverpool. In the 95th minute, the Colombian forward unleashed a thunderous strike from outside the box, leaving Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale with no chance.
