Lisabi has claimed the Best Indigenous Language Film prize for West Africa at the 12th Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards. The ceremony took place Saturday at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.

Lateef Adedimeji stars in the film alongside Mobimpe. He accepted the trophy on stage.

In his remarks, Adedimeji credited his wife for the achievement. "This award belongs to the woman who believed in my dreams," he told the audience.

"The woman who just gave me my three kings."

Mobimpe delivered triplets just last week. The couple married five years ago.

It marks back-to-back wins for the production. Lisabi: A Legend Is Born won the same category last year at the 2025 edition.
