Jamaica's coach Rudolph Speid believes his squad can topple Nigeria's Super Eagles in Saturday's Unity Cup final. The Reggae Boys earned their berth with a commanding 2-0 win over India on Wednesday evening.

Courtney Clarke and Kaheim Dixon scored in that victory. Jamaica has now reached the final for the third consecutive year.

However, the Caribbean side has fallen short twice before against the Super Eagles. Last year's final proved particularly painful—they rallied from two goals down but lost 5-4 on penalties.

Speid told reporters his team won't be discouraged by that history. "They're very, very good, but every team is beatable," he noted after Wednesday's match.

According to him, Jamaica is still developing as a unit. "We have lots of young players," Speid explained to journalists.

He emphasized that nothing is decided before kickoff. "Nobody is a winner before the game is played," the coach added.

Nigeria remains a three-time African champion with impressive pedigree. Still, Speid insists his squad has contributions to make on the night.

Saturday's final kicks off at the Valley. Both teams now prepare for what promises to be a compelling contest.
