Izu Anioma organises grand reception for Okowa

A group that styled itself Izu Anioma Nation has concluded plans to organise what they termed a grand reception for the governor of Delta State, Dr.  Ifeanyi Okowa.

The event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, April 24th, 2018 at the Cenotaph, Asaba.

State Commissioner for Information, Mr.Patrick Ukah who is the Chairman of the Media Committe who stood in for Chairman of the Organising Committee, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, said the event which will be chaired by Chief Philip Asiodu will attracts who is who in the political, economic and social spheres of the country.

Ukah who described Dr.Okowa as a true and detribalized leader said the governor deserved the honour in view of his outstanding performance in the governance of the State.

He mentioned such areas where the governor have done so well to include; Road infrastructure, Peace and Security, Establishment of Asaba Capital Development Authority, State Contributory Health Scheme among others.

Ukah was flanked during the briefing by Dr.Kingsley Emu, Fidelis Tilije,Nkem Patience Okwuofu among others.
