Kelechi Iheanacho was among the scorers as Celtic crushed Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 at Hampden Park on Saturday to claim the Scottish Cup.

It marked a domestic double for the Glasgow club. They'd won the Scottish Premiership just days earlier.

Daizen Maeda gave Celtic the lead in the 17th minute. They dominated from start to finish against their lower-league opponents.

Arne Engels added a second goal nine minutes before halftime. Celtic looked comfortable going into the break.

Iheanacho came off the bench in the 58th minute, replacing James Forrest. The Nigerian forward made an immediate impression on the match.

He scored Celtic's third goal after the restart. That sealed the victory beyond any doubt.

Josh Cooper netted a late goal for Dunfermline in the 80th minute. It proved only a consolation for the losing side.

Iheanacho finished the season with nine goals in 24 appearances. He competed across all competitions for Celtic.

The triumph extended Celtic's unbeaten streak to nine games. Caretaker manager Martin O'Neill guided them to a strong finish.

Celtic claimed their 43rd Scottish Cup title with the win. It also secured their 14th domestic double in club history.

O'Neill added another major honour to his Celtic legacy. He's now won nine trophies across two spells managing the club over 26 years.

The 74-year-old hasn't yet confirmed if he'll stay beyond this season. His future at Celtic remains undecided.
