I am not surprised at the Appeal Court judgement -Hon Igbakpa

The House of Representative Member Representing Ethiope Federal constituency, Hon Benson Igbakpa, has said that he wasn’t surprised at the appeal court judgment adding that the judges that gave judgment at the tribunal erred.

Igbakpa stated this while addressing newsmen on Saturday during his Thanksgiving service at First Baptist Church at Ovade, Oghara, in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, that he is thanking God for the victories he has attain over the years, especially before and after the 2019 general elections.

“I knew from the onset that we are going to get to the point of celebration. I am not surprised at the appeal Court judgment because laws are supposed to be followed strictly. I knew that when the judges gave that judgment at the tribunal, the judges erred, that’s why I had the courage to go to the appeal Court, believing that the people that are coming are going to be steadfast, believing that God the ultimate judge will take control, believing that the voice of my people will be heard. Thank God that I came out victorious” he said.

“l want my people to keep believing and trust in themselves that they can make it because there’s no mountain that cannot be surmounted. I want to thank those that have come to celebrate with me, I assure them that I will always be with them and I pray that celebration will never cease from them” he added.

Chief Williams Makinde the Former Managing Director DESOPADEC has described Hon Benson Igbakpa as a role model, a great help to his people adding that he won the election. “Hon Benson Igbakpa has been a very great help to the people and a role model. I thank God and appreciate God for his life and am not surprised at his victory at the Appeal Court because he won the election” he said.

The Youth Leader and Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development, Comrade Favour Ededey also described Hon Benson Igbakpa as a capacity politician with a listening ear. “I thank God because it was a battle and at the end he gained victory. Ben is a capacity politician that have a listening ear” his words.

Also, Comrade Adogbeji Blessing, the Vice President of the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAP) has assured Hon Benson Igbakpa that the NAP is with him adding that they are happy for his victory and success so far.

We are here to felicitate with Hon Ben Igbakpa, we want to assure Hon Ben Igbakpa that the National Association of Polytechnic Students, NAPS, are happy for his victory because he is a lover of education who has brought education to Nigeria students” he said.
